I was born in a Hindu family and growing up, I had a tough time figuring out God.
In my several discussions with elders of the family I figured out two things:
1) God is omni-present. Its present inside you, it surrounds you; it’s in the air you breathe, its present in every little or big thing you can imagine.
It’s even present in your little brother who screams at the top of his lungs and refuses to share his toys with you.
2) God is Nirgun (has no qualities). That is, God is not male or female; God is not fair or dark... etc. You can comprehend it in two ways,
All inclusive: God contains all the qualities, so it’s tough to associate God with either this or that.
Totally exclusive: God is a power that you can believe in but give no shape to, he is above and beyond the humanly characteristics that we define a regular living being with.
That said, there are 33 Crores (330 million) avatars of God. There is Gods for Rain, clouds, air, sea, studies, power and yes, there is a God for structural engineer too...
Some animals are considered God too, others are Gods pet animals, l
God or the Ultimate Soul (Param–atma) has three characters, one who creates, second who nurtures and third who destroys.
Yes, there is God for destruction. In hindu religion, everything is seen as a form of energy and so nothing actually destroys, it just changes its forms.

Good Bye Triple Espresso

Have you ever laughed so much that your mouth and your tummy starts hurting and tears roll down your cheeks but you still can’t stop laughing?
I am thankful to God that I have a few of those moments in this life time and one of them I vividly remember was during the show ‘Triple Espresso’.
I have absolutely no picture of that day and still remember that day like it was yesterday though it happened almost 4 years ago. I remember where we parked, I remember the walk to the theatre, I remember what I wore, I remember the Mexican restaurant across the street where we went for dinner after the show, I can still taste the Habanero Salsa and the cool Sangria... we had a very good time.
So why am I talking about it today?
Well, I heard about it on the radio, they are going to close the show down. . It ran for 12 years here in Minnesota and 27th April is its last show.
It was a clean comedy and a lot of fun; I sure am going to miss it

12 April Layout +
Here’s my LO for the 12th April.
My 12th was spent around my family, we ate dessert with morning coffee, I got some flowers from Hubby and kids, we did some projects in our daughters’ room (put up shelves, hung pictures), we drove to the Mall, shared a cup of coffee and filled gas in the car…
12 on 12:

I wanted the pictures to stand out so used a white background and used white embellishment.
There are a lot of firsts with this page, like
-documenting day to day objects,
-using pictures that are connected but don’t have a direct story behind them
-Not grounding or tying the pictures and letting them float (totally not my style)
The second LO that I made this morning is inspired from an old pencillines sketch.
This idea came while I was working and the picture of my daughter came from a photo frame on my work table. Her intense EYEs prompted me to make this LO.
It says: Ever since you were a baby, I called you a ‘BIG EYED PRINCESS’ and now that you are able to express yourself better I see that they are not just big but they are intense, deep and very observing…
These Eyes:

Let me know what you think. As always Thanks for stopping by...
