I have good memories of visits to the local library when I was a boy; looks like your daughters will grow up with similar warm memories.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can testify from my childhood experiences that when children see their parents reading, it inspires them to want to do the same. Not only reading, but a library promotes curiosity about the world.
Your photos have made me want to get out to visit that specific library. I recognize it because I've read articles about the renovation, but have never been there in person. Thanks for the idea/inspiration for what I'm sure will be a nice family trip.
