Let's start again...

Can I reboot life’s computer and restart the beginning of 2015.

As much as I acknowledge the need for hardships and stress required for an individual’s growth, I am too much of a milestone person, and once in a while, say like every 365 days I’d like to see myself as making a fresh and clean start. And well, to put it mildly, 2015 didn’t give me a clean start and I’d like to start afresh…
So, let's start again and usher in good times in the new year:
'Happy New Year' February is the new January...

Here's my sob story, I got in a car accident, I was saved but my car didn't make it. It was a particularly icy day and I think there was a media article reporting 650 crashes in the Twin Cities area on that particular day. I think there were 9 accidents within a mile of my crash.

Yeah! it makes me feel better that I am a small part of a big statistical data but it was particularly hard since DH happen to be out of town on a project that week and I was driving the car that was registered in his name. I ended up driving a variety of rental cars and in the end replaced my car... Things have been looking up since then, so I'm hopeful that the year is not doomed from the start it was just a stroke of bad luck…

My parents arrived from India last week and it has filled my home with warmth specially appreciated in this Minnesota winter.

I hosted a violin recital at home for the little ones (4-7 year olds) who are a little shy to brave the large audience of a formal recital. It was wonderful to see the beginning of a new musical family/community.

Still basking in the nightly glow of the Christmas tree. It should come down this weekend. May be...

We attended the Saraswati puja (rituals for goddess of learning) on arrival of spring (basant panchami by Indian lunar calendar).

Enjoying the omnifest movies at the Science Museum of Minnesota

Experienced hosting an academic event at our school which involved teams from 8 other district school. It required quite a skill to manage all the people or tasks.

Finished making another cowl and now looking to start another project-- debating between yarn and fabric...
